This standing committee identifies and recommends meaningful opportunities for the Academic Senate to engage in leadership on academic issues at Lansing Community College.

Committee Charter
Charge to the Committee
- Identify opportunities for the Academic Senate to engage in academic leadership, and advise the Academic Senate and its leadership accordingly.
- Continually seeks input from the Academic Senators.
- Maintain a record of important issues that have arisen, but which have not yet been addressed, and alert the Academic Senate and its leadership.
- Be aware of strategic initiatives at LCC that intersect with the role of the Academic Senate.
- Be aware of accreditation and regulatory criteria that intersect with the role of the Academic Senate.
- Seek communication and cooperation with LCC's Executive Leadership Team and Board of Trustees, and relay important news and information to the Academic Senate.

- A member of the Executive Leadership Team

- Student Affairs
- A member should not miss more than 2 meetings per academic year

Will be appointed by the President of the Academic Senate
Term/Rotation
Continued membership will be at the discretion of the President of the Academic Senate.
