Guiding Questions for Academic Senate Developmental Education discussion

The Board of Trustees recently passed a resolution calling for a redesign of developmental education at LCC based on the Six Core Principles for Transforming Remediation within a Comprehensive Student Success Strategy.

The Academic Senate has been asked to provide input to the college about implementing these principles. We have developed the following guiding questions to shape this response. Please share your ideas by responding to any of the following questions. Don’t feel obligated to answer to all of the questions, but instead focus on those to which you believe you can contribute most constructively.
