LCC Stars baseball ranked No. 1
LANSING, Mich. – After an impressive 8-0 week on the diamond, the LCC Stars baseball team is ranked No. 1 in the nation by the NJCAA in Division II.
The Stars are riding a 27-game winning streak and an overall record of 36-1. They close out the regular season this week with a doubleheader against Ivy Tech Community College Northeast Tuesday, May 4, and back-to-back doubleheaders May 7 and 8 against St. Clair County Community College.
"We are super proud of our LCC Stars baseball team," said President Steve Robinson. "Given the challenges of COVID-19, this has been a difficult and complicated year for our student athletes. We are all rooting for our No. 1 Stars!"
The Stars are coached by Jordan Keur, who is in his third year at the helm. The always calm and collected Coach Keur says of his No. 1 Stars, "They’re a special group."
