Ethics in Dental Hygiene and Infection Control

Join Dr. Heather Bunce, Ed.D., RDH, for a training presentation on Ethics in Dental Hygiene and Infection Control.

Course Description

In this course, we will examine the ethical concerns associated with delegating duties within the dental office. We will discuss how ethical concepts such as veracity and autonomy are relevant to patient care. In the second half of the course, we will focus on the safe sterilization of handpieces, the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and review the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) infection control guidelines.

There is a strict limit of 24 seats available. Sign-up closes on Tuesday, January 28, 2025.

This presentation is eligible for Continuing Education Credits. A certificate of completion will be presented at the end of the program.

All proceeds from ticket sales and additional donations support the Dental Hygiene Scholarship and Program fund.
