Welding Fundamentals

This program was developed to train welding people in Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) and Flux-Core Arc Welding (FCAW). The program includes welding safety and focuses on flat and horizontal welding and inspection as well as in the second half of the program, help develop the skills of production welding for quality and speed.

Class

Participants will be prepared to function with knowledge and accuracy in production welding. The program includes classroom and lab work, as well as hands-on experience in a true welding environment.

Entry-level Gas Metal Arc Welders salaries range from $15-$18 an hour. Wages can increase with education and experience. As with all jobs, wages vary depending on education, experience, and location.
