Lansing Community College

Due to low enrollment in the program, we will not be admitting a new cohort of students in the fall of 2022. LCC is committed to allowing current students to complete the program as planned.

The Early College at Lansing Community College model is being reassessed to determine how to restructure the program so that it meets the future needs of students. If you have any questions, you may contact Toni Glasscoe directly at glassct@star.lcc.edu or at (517) 483-9909.

College costs are soaring, causing many young people to enter the workforce under burdensome debt. But for most careers and professions, an associate or bachelor's degree is a basic requirement. The Early College at Lansing Community College is designed to provide motivated students a head start on their college program with tuition, fees and books provided free.

The Early College is a program for students entering their junior year of high school who are looking for an opportunity to move into a college environment. Early College Students have an opportunity to earn up to 60 tuition-free college credits, potentially saving families more than $60,000 in tuition costs. Built to challenge students and to maximize their potential, the Early College stresses rigorous academics and an accelerated, college-like class schedule.
