LCC Adult Enrichment Class

This five-week class explores the city's landscape through the lens of a camera. Students will learn to express their artistic vision and expand their portfolio through a combination of lecture, weekly assignments, critiques and field trips in the Greater Lansing area. Examples of classic and contemporary street photographers such as Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Frank, Gary Winogrand, Wee Gee, Margaret Bourke-White, and Annie Leibowitz will be examined. Students will learn how to use their cameras and smart phones to document architecture both old and new, cityscapes at dusk, store fronts and neon signs, trains, buses and cars, restaurants, food and people portraits in the city with this unique and exciting class. 


This class meets:

April 1st - 29th, 2019 (6 p.m. - 9 p.m.) at East Campus in Room 113
