Theater/Dance

The Theater/Dance Career Community is right for you if you enjoy building your theater and dance proficiency and working with the technical side of productions.

All of the programs in this pathway offer a path to transfer into a four-year or bachelor's degree program, employment, or both. Programs in this Career Community can lead to work in theater and dance performance or technical theater. You can also focus on preparing to enter a teacher preparation program for secondary certification in communication/theater arts, K-12 certification for physical education with a focus on dance, or early childhood certification with a focus on dance. You can even begin preparation to enter a master's level program in dance therapy by completing required social science and science requirements along with your dance program.
