This degree is designed for students who intend to transfer to a four-year college or university to pursue a baccalaureate degree (BA/BS). Students completing this curriculum will also satisfy the Michigan Transfer Agreement between two-year and four-year institutions in Michigan. General education and subject area requirements vary from one college or university to another. Prior to beginning any curriculum, students should contact an academic advisor to create a My Academic Pathway (MAP) in Degree Works. I. GENERAL EDUCATION - MTA REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 30 Credits
A. English Composition
One Course
B. English Composition (second course) or Communication
One Course. See Majors/ Areas of Study for specific requirements.
C. Humanities and Fine Arts
A total of 2 courses, each from a different discipline. No more than one of these
courses can be a world languages course.
D. Mathematics
One course from Quantitative Reasoning, College Algebra or Statistics.
E. Natural Sciences
A total of 2 courses, each from a different discipline, one must be a lab course.

A total of 2 courses, each from a different discipline. See Majors/ Areas of Study

II. Courses within Major:
12-20 Credits (Some major courses also fulfill General Education requirements. In such cases, the
credits will only be counted once.)
