Eleventh Annual IT Speed Networking Event

Trades Technology Services and the CIT Department are hosting the Eleventh Annual IT Speed Networking Event 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4 at LCC's West Campus, room M119. There is no charge to attend this event.

IT Speed Networking is a fast, fun, quick, and exciting way for LCC IT students and local employers to connect. This is a networking event first and foremost. However, each year, LCC IT students have been hired as a direct result of attending the event. It is not a requirement to be looking for a job (student) or be looking to hire (company rep), just a potential added benefit! We typically have 40-60 LCC IT students and 30-45 local company representatives participate.

You must be an LCC student currently enrolled in a CIT or Computer Science curriculum in order to attend this event.

The registration deadline for students is 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, 2022. Early registration is recommended. Registration is limited to the first 60 respondents. Once registration is full, a wait list will be established.

The registration deadline for company representatives is 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28, 2022. Early registration is appreciated to assist us in planning the event. Registration is limited to 42 tables. Once registration is full, a wait list will be established.

Prep Sessions

Students are REQUIRED to register for and attend one 15 minute prep session in order to attend the event.

The prep session requirement must be completed by Thursday, Oct. 27, 2021 5:30 p.m. If none of the scheduled dates and times work for you, choose one and then please contact Wyn Wilson at wilsonjw@lcc.edu or 517-483-1157 to schedule an alternative date/time.

Note: If you attended a prep session last year you must email Wyn Wilson at wilsonjw@lcc.edu to request a waiver.

Optional résumé critiques will be available Monday, Oct. 24, and Thursday, Oct. 27, by appointment only, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., at LCC's West Campus. Please call Wyn Wilson at 517- 483-1157 to schedule an appointment for a résumé critique.
