Why a degree in management? Managers are in high demand in virtually every type of business, and jobs are plentiful.

Business managers plan, organize, coordinate and evaluate entire projects from start to finish. Their role cuts across all areas of business and organizational life and has as its central purpose the effective use of resources. They do this by guiding organizations in effective and efficient use of resources to meet internal and external customer needs. Managers supply encouragement, coordination and leadership to achieve company goals. When you study management at LCC, you’ll gain the knowledge, skills and abilities to manage day to day operations.

Whether you are starting out or moving up, you can secure a position as a supervisor, assistant manager, management trainee, and beyond in virtually every industry: manufacturing, financial, retail, services, nonprofit businesses and government.

At LCC, you can:

Take classes for your individual needs or develop your skills.

Earn a certificate (in 2 semesters) and apply it to an associate’s degree (in two years).

Transfer seamlessly to another college or university to earn a bachelor’s degree.

Take 300 level courses at LCC prices that transfer to many colleges and universities.
