Steps to a Successful Event !

 

Menu Arrangements

 

All catered events must be scheduled through the Campus Dining office at 483-9952. Arrangements may also be made by logging onto StarPort. Once into StarPort, select the “My Place” Tab. Then collect on request forms. Select the Campus Dining Request Form. Enter your information and then submit. Outside groups requiring catering services should be directed to Conference Services at 483-9300. When requesting catering services, please be prepared to give the following information:

 

 

·         Date, Time, and Location of Event

¨       Organization Name and Contact Person

¨       Phone Number and Mail Code

¨       PTAEO

¨       Type of Function

¨       Catering Needs

¨       Anticipated Attendance

 

Menu Selection

 

Menu selections should be made at least 5 working days prior to your event. Campus Dining reserves the right to limit menu options with less than 5 days notice. Arrangements can be made to design a special menu that reflects the needs of your group. Please note for all catering events with less than 12 guests may be subjected to limited menu choices.

 

 

Guarantee

 

The number of guests served must be guaranteed 5 working days prior to the event. You will be charged for the guaranteed number or the actual attendance, whichever is greater.

 

 

Cancellation

 

Cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to your event to ensure no charges will be levied. Cancellations with less notice may result in a charge for the cost incurred up to the time of cancellation.

 

Service Charges

 

A $20 delivery charge will be assessed for all deliveries outside of the Arts & Science Building that are less than $250. All box lunches are delivered as drop offs and therefore there will be no delivery charge. All catering orders over $250 will not be assessed a delivery charge. There will be a $40 delivery charge for events at Harry Hill and LCC East.  China & Linen Service can be added for an additional $2.50 per person for all events. All menus in our catering guide are priced as buffets. If you require your meal to be served or require an attendant, a $25 per hour labor charge per server (attendant) will be added to your bill. Based on your type of event and number of guests expected, we will recommend appropriate staffing. 

 

 

Specialty Arrangements

 

Campus Dining can assist you with procuring flowers, special linens, rental equipment, and decorations to add to the ambiance of your event.

 

 

Meal Vouchers

 

Meal vouchers provide an alternative to catering service. They can be used at all dining locations. The vouchers allow individuals to purchase lunch and refreshments of their choice.  The maximum amount allotted for a meal is to be determined by each department for individual events.  Meal vouchers are not charged to your account until they are used. Purchase meal vouchers by calling Campus Dining at 483-9952 or sending a Campus Dining Request via StarPort.
