A brief explanation
of the search language is available, along with examples.
The text
search engine allows queries to be formed from arbitrary Boolean
expressions containing the keywords AND, OR, and NOT, and grouped with
parentheses. For example:

the words: jazz music
- finds
all documents containing 'jazz' or 'music'
- enter
the words: jazz
or music

same as above
- enter
the words: jazz
and music

finds all documents containing both 'jazz' and 'music'
- enter
the words: jazz not music

finds all documents containing 'jazz' but not 'music'
