Viv Nesbitt and John Dillion
Art of the Song
info@artofthesong.org

Vivian Nesbitt, whose acting credits include Broadway and national television, got her first guitar for her 15th birthday. It came from a pawn shop in Toledo, Ohio. She has been producing music and theater events for 25 years. Vivian was co-producer, writer and narrator for a 26 part television series about Buddhism for Mongolian National Television.

John Dillon began playing guitar at age 13. His early twenties were spent hitchhiking and riding freight trains across the US, where he learned to play blues harp to the rhythm of the train wheels against the track. John has been a professional musician for over 30 years and has released three albums of original music. He worked for 12 years as a marketing executive in the wholesale floral industry while maintaining his music career. In 1999 and 2000, he hosted a weekly live radio show and concert series with touring singer-songwriters.

Viv met John in their hometown of Taos, New Mexico, when she poured him a cup of coffee at a local diner. Their love of sharing music has won fans from all walks of life.   John is also a nationally known luthier having built custom guitars for Trisha Yearwood, Steve Earle, Tish Hinojosa and the Mavericks.
