As one of
the co-hosts
of The Coffee Break,
Dayna Marie enjoys not only being an on-air
personality but she
also loves "the opportunity to help spread the message".
"I have a passion for music and
people", says Dayna Marie.
Since joining WLNZ in April,
2005 her daily routine includes scheduling a variety of guests and
conducting interviews with Lansing area residents who promote non-profit
organizations, local events, theatre, musical groups and
performances. Dayna also works as Development Director for the
radio station. She says she's grateful to be
working at a public radio station like WLNZ, "I feel fortunate
to have a job where I actually look forward to going to work"!
Dayna has lived in the Greater
Lansing area and worked in the field of broadcasting for nearly as
many years. Her career began in 1993 as a
"free-lance on-air talent" doing television commercials, voice-overs
and on-location broadcasts, first in the Lansing market, then
moving into the Grand Rapids and Detroit broadcast markets. In addition, Dayna
produced and hosted the safety and informational television program
for Meridian Township called,
Beyond the Badge which aired regularly on HOME TV in 2000.

or on the internet at wlnz.org. You can also watch the show on LCC
TV Comcast seen on channel 15 in Lansing and channel 23 in
East Lansing. Re-broadcasts of the show take place on Comcast TV
1:00 and 8:00pm each weekday.
