89.7 FM WLNZ is the student-operated radio station at Lansing Community College. Students in the media
technology curriculum have the opportunity to gain experience in radio broadcasting. The
station signed on the air in 1994, but the curriculum has been training students in radio
since 1961. Many professional broadcasters in this area got their training and experience
at WLNZ.
