Well fellow students the end of the semester is finally here. I’m sure everyone will be looking forward to Christmas and the Holiday season/break. As for myself I sure am glad this semester is about over. I’ve brought up on many occasions about how challenging math can be. It will be nice to be able to put 112 behind me, still need to pass the final though.

School can be very demanding of your time and I really try to keep in perspective what’s really important in life. Family first, I say. With that being said, the time off during the holidays will be spent enjoying the family. With the loss of my sister last October our entire family has become closer, which is a good thing. My nephew just had a new baby girl and between all the others it’s the first little girl. She’ll have three brothers and an awful lot of cousins that are mostly all boys. So as you can see it is an exciting time for all of us.

On the other hand I’m looking forward to next semester and the challenges it has to offer. Still being interested in the IT field, I very much enjoy the classes in the computer field. I’ve had some really great instructors up to this point and I expect no less in the upcoming semesters. I still have a few core classes to take but am looking forward to those as well. Coming back to school last fall was a real good decision. Since being here, I can think of no one who hasn’t been willing to help me with whatever! That goes for Instructors, Counselors, Staff, and students as well. One thing I’ve enjoyed is the cultural diversity here at L.C.C. I sure have met a lot of real cool people.
