                         TRANSFER INFORMATION GUIDE

Students anticipating transfer to a medical technology program at a four-
year college or university should enroll for the following courses during 
their freshman year:  BIOL 127,128: CHEM 151,152,161,162; MATH 121,122/
MATH 126; WRIT 121, WRIT/ENGL 122.

Students who plan to remain at LCC through their sophomore year should 
complete the following courses:  CHEM 251,252,272; PHYS 221,222; 12-16 
credits in social science (to include POLS 120) and humanities.

   of courses.  At Lake Superior State University and Michigan Technological
   University, this major is titled "Clinical Laboratory Science".

NOTES:
1. Contact FSU regarding approved LCC courses and requirements for admission
   to their program (http://catalog.ferris.edu/programs/73). 
2. LSSU offers a four year program with three years of clinical experience.
3. SVSU requires BIOL 121, 260 and 265 in place of BIOL 127 & 128, and the 
   addition of MATH 151, as stated in the first paragraph. 
4. Students seeking an LCC associate degree must fulfill specific graduation
   requirements including the LCC general education core requirements.  See

5. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, 
   and writing.  To determine accurate course placement, students should take
