1. This transfer guide represents an Articulation (partnership) Agreement between
   Lansing Community College (LCC) and Capella University which facilitates 
   the transfer of LCC semester credits toward the completion of a Bachelor of
   Science in Public Safety at Capella University.  This articulated agreement
   does not have a specific expiration date.
2. This guide includes courses for the LCC Criminal Justice curriculum,
   allowing students to simultaneously earn an Associate in Arts degree from
   LCC while preparing to transfer to Capella University. 
3. Students must graduate from LCC with an associate degree in an approved field
   of study with an overall GPA of 2.0, as calculated by LCC. 
4. Select courses which will satisfy both the MACRAO Transfer Agreement and the 
   Capella University General Education Requirements.
5. Successful completion of the courses listed on this guide fulfill both the 
   lower-division general education requirements for Capella University and the 
   MACRAO Transfer Agreement.   
6. Students may chose to substitute with WRIT 131 and/or WRIT/ENGL 132.  
7. Completion of 13 related credits from the list of elective courses for the
   LCC AA degree fulfills the remaining course requirements for this transfer
8. Students who complete the coursework on this transfer guide may be eligible 
   to receive a LCC associate degree. Please contact an advisor in the Academic

   Students seeking an LCC associate degree must fulfill specific graduation
   requirements. See the LCC Catalog for details.
9. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and 
   writing.  To determine accurate course placement, students should take the 
   Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GB 200) prior to
