NOTES:
1. This transfer guide represents an Articulation Agreement between Lansing
Community College (LCC) and the University of Maryland University College
(UMUC), located in Adelphi, Maryland. This agreement has a term of one year
and shall automatically renew for successive one year periods. This agreement
facilitates the maximum transfer of 70 credit hours toward the 120 credits
required for the completion of a Bachelor of Science in Computer and
Information Science degree at UMUC
2. This guide includes courses for the LCC Computer Science (0169) program,
allowing students to simultaneously earn an Associate in Science degree from
LCC while preparing to transfer to UMUC.
3. See the LCC Core Requirements for appropriate LCC course selection.
4. Student may substitute with WRIT 131 and WRIT/ENGL 132.
5. Select 8 credits in different disciplines from any HUMS, MUSC or PHIL courses
on the LCC Core list.
6. Select 8 credits in different disciplines from any PSYC, SOCL, ECON, POLS or
GEOG courses on the LCC Core list.
7. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and
writing. To determine accurate course placement, students should take the
Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GB 200) prior to
