NOTES:
1. See the FSU General Education Requirements guide for appropriate LCC courses.
2. The FSU Automotive Engineering Technology program was designed to accept 
   graduates with an AAS in Automotive Technology (0238) or related technical 
   area.
3. AET is an instructional program that prepares individuals to apply basic 
   engineering principles and technical skills in support of engineers and other 
   professionals engaged in developing, manufacturing, and testing self-propelled
   ground vehicles and their systems.  It includes instruction in vehicular 
   systems technology, design and development testing, instrument calibration, 
   test equipment operation and maintenance, and report preparation. 
4. Admissions Requirements
   a. Associate Degree in Automotive Technology or related technical area.
   b. 2.7 GPA in major coursework
   c. Overall 2.5 GPA
   d. MATH 115 and PHYS 221
   e. Students must complete a minimum of 30 credit hours at Ferris to meet
      residency and graduation requirements.
   f. Final responsibility for verifying all transfer information lies with 
      the student. 
5. Application Deadline:  It is recommended that students submit applications by 
   January 15 prior to fall entry.  
6. Due to the sequential nature of the courses in this BS degree, students 
   should consult with a Ferris advisor prior to completing general education 
   requirements or program courses beyond their associate degree.  
   Students not completing the MACRAO Agreement are required to complete the 
   Ferris General Education requirements.  See Ferris advisor for general 
   education advising needs. 
7. Students seeking an LCC associate degree must fulfill specific graduation
   requirements including the LCC general education core requirements.  See the

8. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and 
   writing.  To determine accurate course placement, students should take the 
   Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GB 200) prior to
