NOTES:
1. The National University of Health Sciences is accredited by the Commission
on Accreditation of the Council on Chiropractic Education and the Higher
Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association of Colleges and
Schools.
2. Admissions Requirements to NUHS:
a. Prerequisite courses must transfer at the baccalaureate level with a
minimum 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
b. Cumulative GPA must be a minimum of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
c. Refer to the NUHS Bulletin for additional admission requirements.
d. It is the responsibility of the student to keep abreast of changes in
course offerings and program requirements.
3. This suggested course outline is for the NUHS Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences
degree completion program.
4. Complete 9 credits of Social Science from the following: anthropology,
economics, history, human geography, political science, psychology, and
sociology.
5. Complete 9 credits of Arts/Humanities from the following: history, language,
literature, philosophy, religious and cultural studies, performing and visual
arts history or appreciation.
6. Students are encouraged to work with the NUHS Office of Admissions when
selecting electives. Credits should be selected from the following areas:
general education, liberal arts, life sciences, or physical sciences.
7. Students seeking an LCC associate degree must fulfill specific graduation
requirements including the LCC general education core requirements. See the

8. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and
writing. To determine accurate course placement, students should take the
Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GB 200) prior to
