NOTES:
1. This transfer guide represents an Articulation (partnership) Agreement
   between Lansing Community College (LCC) and Lawrence Technological University
   (LTU).  This agreement facilitates the transfer of LCC courses as 60-61 credit 
   hours toward the completion of a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
   at LTU.  Students will complete a minimum of 80 credit hours for the BS degree
   at LTU (available at the LCC University Center).
2. This guide includes courses for the LCC General Associates (0863) or the 
   Liberal Arts (0251) program, allowing students to simultaneously earn an 
   Associate Degree from LCC while preparing to transfer to LTU.

4. Select 3-4 credits to fulfill the LCC Communication Core from:

5. General education requirements may be waived by one of the following methods:
   a. Satisfying the MACRAO Transfer Agreement - transcript must be stamped 
      "MACRAO Agreement Satisfied" prior to transfer.
   b. Course by course transfer as indicated on this guide.
   c. Satisfactory completion of an articulation agreement where applicable.
6. The Writing Proficiency Exam (COM 3000) must be taken during the first 
   semester at LTU.  COM 1001 - University Seminar - is excused.
7. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and 
   writing.  To determine accurate course placement, students should take the 
   Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GB 200) prior to
