NOTES:
1. This transfer guide represents an Articulation (partnership) Agreement
between Lansing Community College (LCC) and Lawrence Technological University
(LTU). This agreement facilitates the transfer of LCC courses as 75 credit
hours toward the completion of a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology
(BSIT) degree at LTU. Students will complete a minimum of 45 credit hours for
the BSIT degree at LTU (available at the LCC University Center).
2. This guide includes courses for the LCC Computer Programmer/Analyst (0113)
program, allowing students to simultaneously earn an Associate in Business
degree from LCC while preparing to transfer to LTU.
3. See the MACRAO Transfer Agreement for appropriate LCC course selection.
4. General education requirements may be waived by one of the following methods:
a. Satisfying the MACRAO Transfer Agreement - transcript must be stamped
"MACRAO Agreement Satisfied" prior to transfer.
b. Course by course transfer as indicated on this guide.
c. Satisfactory completion of an articulation agreement where applicable.
5. Course choice must include a lab if a lab was not taken when meeting the LCC
Science Core area requirement.
6. The student's course choice in meeting the LCC Global Perspectives/Diversity
Core requirement may fulfill a portion of the eight required Social Science
credits.
7. Completion of the "REQUIRED" courses on LCC curriculum 0113, along with
Subchoice 2A & B/C and CHOICE 4, fulfills the remaining course requirements
for this transfer guide.
8. The Writing Proficiency Exam (COM 3000) must be taken during the first
semester at LTU. COM 1001 - University Seminar - is excused.
9. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and
writing. To determine accurate course placement, students should take the
Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GB 200) prior to
