NOTES:
1. This transfer guide represents a 3+1 Articulation (partnership) Agreement
between Lansing Community College (LCC) and Lawrence Technological University
(LTU). This agreement facilitates the transfer of LCC courses as 93 credit
hours toward the completion of a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology
(BSET) degree at LTU. Students will complete a minimum of 32 credit hours for
the BSET degree at LTU (available at the LCC University Center).
2. This guide includes courses for the LCC Civil Technology (0178) program,
allowing students to simultaneously earn an Associate in Applied Science
degree from LCC while preparing to transfer to LTU.
3. See the MACRAO Transfer Agreement for appropriate LCC course selection.
4. General education requirements may be waived by one of the following methods:
a. Satisfying the MACRAO Transfer Agreement - transcript must be stamped
"MACRAO Agreement Satisfied" prior to transfer.
b. Course by course transfer as indicated on this guide.
c. Satisfactory completion of an articulation agreement where applicable.
5. It is recommended that students take the MATH 121 and 122 sequence in order
to easily transition into the MATH 141 course. The PHYS sequence, along with
the recommend LCC mathematic courses, better prepare students for the BSET
program.
6. The Writing Proficiency Exam (COM 3000) must be taken during the first
semester at LTU. COM 1001 - University Seminar - is excused.
7. Completion of the listed "REQUIRED" courses on LCC curriculum 0178, with
either the Public or Private Industry Track, fulfills the remaining course
requirements for this transfer guide.
8. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and
writing. To determine accurate course placement, students should take the
Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GB 200) prior to
registration. For testing hours call (517) 267-5500.
For further information and advising, contact the LTU University Center Office at
