NOTES:
1. These course equivalencies apply to NEW students only. Enrolled and returning
student must have general studies course substitutions approved by the
Concordia General Studies Division Chairperson or the Concordia Registrar.
2. Proficiency in these areas may be established through college courses or a
combination of high school courses and/or test scores.
3. Concordia University minimum credit hours requirements are listed on this
guide. Some approved LCC courses equivalencies have fewer credit hours than
the Concordia University general studies minimum, making it necessary to take
more than one course to fulfill the requirement. One course may not be used
to fulfill two different CU general studies requirements.
4. Non-repeated credits for all courses number 100 and above with grades of C-
or better are accepted as general electives if they do not fit into the above
   requirements or a program/major/minor/concentration.
5. Credits from community colleges may be accepted for programs, majors, minors,
or concentrations. Final decisions on particular courses are made by the
appropriate dean, division chair, or department chair of Concordia University.
6. A grade of C- (1.6667) or better is required for transfer courses.
