NOTES:
1. See the Ferris State University General Education Requirements transfer guide
   for appropriate LCC courses.
2. Admission requirement for transfer students:
   a. Transfer students with fewer than 12 transferable credits at the time of
      application must meet the current FSU freshmen admission criteria.  The 
      application will be considered for admission based upon the high school
      academic record.
   b. Transfer students with 12 or more transfer credits at the time of applica-
      tion must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.  Students without
      an English and Algebra class will be required to submit an ACT/SAT score.
3. Ferris State University graduation requirements:
   a. Minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA in all courses.
   b. No grade lower than a 2.0 in course work included in the "major" 15 credits
      must be FSU credits; 15 credits must be 300/400 level.
   c. Must complete an FSU approved academic minor, 50% must be FSU coursework.
   d. 120 minimum semester credits including general education requirements.
   e. Residency requirement:  30 minimum FSU semester credits.
   f. Minimum of 40 credits numbered 300 or higher (excluding community college
      credits). 
4. Students may substitute ENGL 122 or WRIT 132 for WRIT 122.
5. Proficiency in a foreign language through 201 level (third semester) is 
   required for the Bachelor of Art Core.
6. Students seeking an LCC associate degree must fulfill specific graduation
   requirements including the LCC general education core requirements.  See the

7. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and 
   writing.  To determine accurate course placement, students should take the 
   Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GB 200) prior to
