NOTES:
1. This transfer guide represents an articulation (partnership) agreement between
Lansing Community College (LCC) and Life University (Georgia or California)
that facilitates the transfer of 90 LCC credits toward the completion of the
prerequisite program for entrance into the Doctor of Chiropractic program at
Life University.
2. Life University will admit students who complete the articulated prerequisite
requirements at LCC to the professional-level chiropractic degree status.
Incoming students must meet all entry requirements for the Doctor of
Chiropractic program. Acceptance into the chiropractic program does note
guarantee successful completion of course requirements leading to a degree of
Doctor of Chiropractic.
3. Students who complete the course work under the terms of the Life University
catalog in effect during the term of their first registration must graduate
within eight years of admission to Life University.
4. All prerequisite course work for admission to the chiropractic program must
be completed with a grade of 2.0 or above. In addition, the grade point
average of the specific course requirements must average 2.50 or higher. If
the cumulative GPA averages below 2.50, then the average of the best 90
semester hours will be calculated.
5. Students are required to complete a total of 90 credits to meet the Life
University entrance requirement. Although a course may be used to meet
multiple general education categories, each course may only be used to meet a
single category.
6. a) To fulfill the English limited choice requirement, students should select
7-8 credits of ENGL courses.
b) To fulfill the Social Science/Humanities limited choice requirement,
students should select fifteen (15) credits from the following categories:
ANTH, ARTS, CJUS, DANC, ECON, ENGL, FREN, GEOG, GRMN, HIST, JAPN, MUSC,
PHIL, POLS, PSYC, RELG, SOCL, SPAN, SPCH, THEA.
7. Electives may consist of any courses which have been pre-approved by the Life
University academic advisors as courses which will fulfill this curriculum.
8. Students seeking an LCC associate degree must fulfill specific graduation
requirements including the LCC general education core requirements. See the
LCC catalog at http://www.lcc.edu/catalog for additional details.
9. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and
writing. To determine accurate course placement, students should take the
Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GB 200) prior to
