NOTES:
1. This transfer guide represents an articulation (partnership) agreement
between the University of Michigan Flint (UM-Flint) and Lansing Community
College (LCC) that facilitates the transfer of up to 62 LCC credits to a
BS in Health Care Administration degree program at UM-Flint. Students
participating in this program will be able to complete the bachelor degree
graduation requirements through a combination of regularly scheduled courses
held in Lansing and conducted online.
2. The overall mission of the UM-Flint Health Care Administration Program is to
prepare students to become culturally competent health care leaders in health
administration who will contribute to the knowledge base of health care
delivery and be advocates for fairness and equity in health among diverse
populations. Graduates of the Health Care Administration program work in a
variety of inpatient, ambulatory and other health care settings, including
primary care facilities, medical group practices, public health
organizations, health insurance companies, federal, state, and local agencies
    and alternative delivery organizations.
3. General Admission Criteria: An overall GPA of 2.0 in required for admission
to the University and only courses with a 2.0 or higher will transfer with
equivalency. A math placement test is required prior to placement into select
program requirements, therefore previous math coursework in algebra is
    recommended.
4. Up to 30 credit hours of the 62 total transfer credits may be earned for
students who have achieved professional status through a previous degree or
certification in a health care profession. Students should see a UM-Flint
    advisor for qualifying programs.
5. Students may concurrently take courses at both LCC and UM-Flint, as well as
have access to advising and other services at both institutions. Due to
federal regulations requiring that students receive financial aid from only a
single college per semester, financial aid recipients are advised to take all
of their courses in a given semester at either LCC or UM-Flint.
6. Specific credit hour transfers are not always equivalent. Please refer to the
UM-Flint transfer equivalency guide for specific credit transfers per course
    at https://birch.umflint.edu/prod/zwskxfer.find_state.
7. Courses may count toward more than one UM-Flint general education require-
