NOTES:
1. This transfer guide represents a 3+1 articulation (partnership) agreement
between Lansing Community College (LCC) and Davenport University that
facilitates the transfer of 103 LCC credits toward the completion of a BAS
degree in Network Security at Davenport University. This guide includes
courses for LCC's Computer Network & Information Security (0791) curriculum
guide, allowing students to simultaneously earn an Associate in Business
degree while preparing to transfer to Davenport University.
2. A Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Network Security from Davenport
University will prepare students to create and implement network security
policies for an organization. In addition to network security fundaments,
this program also includes the knowledge and skills to perform administrative
oversight of disaster recovery, information assurance, and other network
security policies.
3. Students may choose to complete this third year requirement at LCC or
Davenport University.

5. Completion of CITF 110,200; CITN 120; CITS 121,131,285; LCC Science Core;
CHOICES 3 and 4 on LCC curriculum 0791 fulfills the remaining course
requirements.
6. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and
writing. To determine accurate course placement, students should take the
Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GB 200) prior to
