NOTES:
1. This transfer guide supports a 3+1 articulation (partnership) agreement
between Lansing Community College (LCC) and Franklin University that
facilitates the transfer of LCC students to the Franklin University Online
Degree Completion Program. LCC students may transfer a maximum of 84
semester credits and complete the additional credits online through Franklin
University to earn a bachelor degree.
2. Entrance into the Franklin University Alliance online bachelor degree program
requires completion of any associate degree or 60 transferable semester
credits and a 2.50 GPA.
3. Prior to beginning Bridge Courses the student must apply to Franklin and
complete PF 321-Learning Strategies in order to activate their program.
4. Select one Humanities course from: ENGL, HIST, HUMS, PHIL or RELG.
5. Select one Science course from: BIOL, CHEM, or PHYS.
6. Select one Social/Behavioral Science course from: ANTH, PSYC, or SOCL.
7. Elective Bridge Courses: Non-development level courses that did not already
apply toward other requirements will be applied to this area. An official
evaluation of transfer credit will determine the need for electives. For
students who need additional courses to meet the hours required for a
bachelor degree, please see the Franklin University Advisor for prior course
approval.
8. Students seeking an LCC associate degree must fulfill specific graduation
requirements including the LCC general education core requirements. See the
LCC catalog at http://www.lcc.edu/catalog for additional details.
9. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and
writing. To determine accurate course placement, students should take the
Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GB 200) prior
