NOTES:
1.  This transfer guide represents an articulation (partnership) agreement 
    between Lansing Community College (LCC) and Eastern Michigan University (EMU)
    that facilitates the transfer of up to 92 credits from LCC Management (0245)
    Program toward the EMU Business Administration bachelor degree program with 
    an approved business major.
2.  LCC students whose transcripts are endorsed as "MACRAO Satisfied" will only
    be required to meet EMU's additional four general education requirements as
    listed below.  Students must request a MACRAO evaluation of their transcript 
    from the LCC Registrar's Office.  Students who do not satisfy the MACRAO 
    Transfer Agreement will have to complete all of EMU's general education 
    requirements.
    a. A course in advanced written composition, advanced speech, or a foreign
       language (WRIT 127 at LCC - included in the REQUIREMENTS above).
    b. A course in mathematical reasoning (MATH 130 at LCC - included in the 
       REQUIREMENTS above).
    c. A cross-cultural course (ENGL 260/270; HIST 150/240 at LCC - may be 
       selected for the Humanities Limited Choice Requirements options in 
       Note 8 below.
    d. A course in computer literacy (CITF 110/200 at LCC - may be selected from
       the Computer Information Systems Limited Choice Requirements above).
3.  Only courses with a grade of a 2.0 or better will be accepted for transfer to
    EMU.  Only courses in which at least a 2.0 is received will be applied to 
    MACRAO by LCC.
4.  A minimum cumulative GPA of a 2.0 is required for admission to EMU.  Students 
    with a community college GPA of 3.0 or higher will be admitted directly to 
    the EMU College of Business without a probationary semester.  Students whose 
    community college GPA is less than 3.0 may apply to be conditionally admitted
    to the College of Business for the first semester at EMU and will be 
    regularly admitted after successful completion of at least 12 credits at EMU 
    with a minimum overall EMU GPA of 2.50.
5.  Student should contact the EMU College of Business Undergraduate Advising 
    Office early, before completing an admissions application to EMU.  To 
    facilitate the evaluation of transcript/s, students should attach a copy of 
    this articulation guide in their application to EMU and bring a copy of the 
    articulation guide to all advising sessions.
6.  Under this agreement, LCC students may be granted several waivers from the 
    EMU College of Business.  Students should see the EMU College of Business 
    advisor to request these waivers:
    a. Students who complete LCC's LABR 200 and MGMT 224/337 with a 2.0 or higher 
       will receive a waiver of EMU's MGMT 384.
    b. Students who complete LCC's MGMT 228 and MGMT 225/300 with a 2.0 or higher 
       will receive a waiver of EMU's MGMT 386.
7.  MGMT 300, 304, and 337 from LCC's Advanced Management Certificate may be 
    substituted for MGMT 224, 225, and 231/237.   
8.  Complete a minimum of 4 credit hours from courses approved by LCC to satisfy  
    the MACRAO humanities requirement.  
9.  Complete a minimum of 4 credit hours from courses approved by LCC to satisfy
    the MACRAO lab science requirement.
10. Students seeking an additional LCC associate degree must fulfill additional

11. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and 
    writing.  To determine accurate course placement, students should take the 
    Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GB 200) prior to
