NOTES:
1. This transfer guide represents an articulation (partnership) agreement 
   that facilitates the transfer of credits for students completing the LCC
   Dental Hygiene associate degree program to the University of Detroit Mercy 
   (UDM) Dental Hygiene Bachelor of Science degree program.  Students following
   this program can complete the UDM degree requirements within one additional
   year of full-time studies.
2. A maximum of 84 credits may be transferred from LCC to the University of 
   Detroit Mercy.  Although the minimum total for the transfer guides is above
   the 84 transferable credits, credit received for the completion of LCC's
   Math Core is not transferable to UDM, but the Math credits is required for the
   student to complete the associate degree program at LCC.  Courses with less
   than a 2.0 grade will not transfer to UDM for credit or placement.
3. The LCC Dental Hygienist Program is a selective admission program, coordinated
   through the Enrollment Services Office.  Any student desiring admission should
   contact the LCC Enrollment Services Office, (517) 483-1200 or by email at 
   selectiveadmissions@lcc.edu to receive an application.  Applicants are encour-
   aged to contact the Dental Hygienist Program (517) 483-1457 or their website 
   at http://www.lcc.edu/dental for more information.  Student must complete
   prerequisite courses with a cumulative 2.5 or above to be eligible for
   admission.  Courses with "See Note 3" are prerequisites to the program.
4. Completion of the courses listed on this transfer guide fulfill LCC associate
   degree graduation requirements.  Students seeking an additional or alternative
   LCC associate degree must fulfill additional courses requirements.  For more

5. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and 
   writing.  To determine accurate course placement, students should take the 
   Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GB 200) prior to
