NOTES:
1. See the FSU General Education Requirements guide for appropriate LCC courses.
One course may meet more than one general education requirement in the follow-
ing categories: Cultural Enrichment (CE), Social Awareness (SA), Global
Consciousness (GC), and Race-Ethnicity-Gender (REG). Final responsibility for
verifying all transfer information lies with the student.
2. Admission Requirements for Transfer Students:
a. Transfer students with 30 credits or more must have a cumulative 2.0 GPA.
b. Students transferring in with completed majors or minors must have an
appropriate GPA in each major/minor as established by each FSU department.
c. Students seeking admission to teacher education programs must read Certifi-
cation Rule R390.1201 which states that certification may be denied if a
person has been convicted, as an adult, of an act of immoral conduct con-
tributing to the delinquency of a child, or of a misdemeanor or felony
involving moral turpitude.
d. Admission to teacher education programs will be determined at the depart-
ment level.
e. Transfer students must be admitted (apply and be accepted) 21 days prior
to the first day of the semester they plan to attend.
3. Check with a FSU Faculty Advisor or the Program Director listed below for
academic advising prior to competing LCC courses that will meet requirements
for the Secondary Education majors and/or minors.
4. Students must complete a minimum of 30 credit hours at FSU to meet residency
and graduation requirements.
5. Major/minor course requirements can also fulfill general education require-
ments where applicable.
6. Students seeking an LCC associate degree must fulfill specific graduation
requirements including the LCC general education core requirements. See the

7. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and
writing. To determine accurate course placement, students should take the
Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GB 200) prior to
