All bachelor's degree candidates at Michigan State University are required to
complete a series of core general education courses, regardless of which major 
is chosen.  MSU's general education requirements are:  Writing, Mathematics, 
and Integrative Studies.  Many students have additional requirements in these 
areas, depending on their majors.  

This transfer guide lists LCC courses that meet the criteria for required 
courses at Michigan State University.  While every attempt is made to present
the most accurate and up-to-date course information, please know that course 
equivalencies can change at any time.  Information provided in this transfer
guide is for incoming transfer students.  Current MSU students must consult an
academic advisor as MSU guidelines and restrictions may affect the transfer-
ability of credit.
