The College of Arts, Sciences and Letters will accept a maximum of 62 credit 
hours from a community college (grades of C- and below are not accepted) and
a GPA of 2.50 is currently required.  A maximum of 12 credit hours of transfer
coursework in applied art, applied music and/or music theory can be counted 
toward the 120 credit hours required for graduation.  It is the student's 
responsibility to stay in yearly contact with the UM-D Admissions Office to 
keep up-to-date with any changes.

In order to be considered for admission, an application, all required tran-
scripts and documentation, and the application fee if applicable must be sub-
mitted to the Office of Admissions and Orientation by the first day of class 
of your desired term of entry.
