LANSING COMMUNITY COLLEGE
                                TRANSFER GUIDE

Title:  General Education Requirements, Olivet College
Code:   1179

This transfer guide represents an articulation (partnership) agreement between
Lansing Community College and Olivet College. This agreement facilitates the
transfer of associate degree holders under the following conditions:

A. Olivet College will accept a maximum of 62 semester hours from a Lansing
Community College graduate. Students should complete the MACRAO Transfer
Agreement at Lansing Community College; if the MACRAO agreement is not
completed, the students will need to take Olivet College's liberal arts core
courses. In addition, all students will need to complete the following
college graduation requirements before earning a degree from Olivet College:
Portfolio Seminar (each semester enrolled), Senior Experience, Service
Learning, and Living in a Diverse World course.

B. Olivet College will accept the AA or the AS degree from Lansing Community
College. If the MACRAO Transfer Agreement is completed with the degree, the
student's course work will be treated as a unit, without denying credit for
individual classes which may not be offered within the Olivet curriculum and
without challenging any passing grades earned during the degree pursuit.
Courses which are not specifically technical, vocation, or remedial
(developmental) are normally accepted toward the Bachelors Degree.

C. Olivet College will provide regularly scheduled visits by Admissions Office
representatives to Lansing Community College in order to explain post-AA or
AS degree study options to associate degree holders.

D. Olivet College will provide transcript analysis for LCC graduates, with
identification of liberal arts core requirements by the Olivet College
Registrar and the designation of major requirements to be completed by the
   appropriate Olivet department chairperson.

E. Olivet College will offer a campus orientation program designed specifically
for community college graduates and transfer students with junior/senior
year Bachelor Degree course expectations and course selection assistance.
The program will be organized and presented by the Olivet College Office
   of Academic Advising.

Any special considerations, course exclusions, or specific programs which are
not covered by this agreement are defined on the codicil attached to this
transfer agreement. Any attachments to this agreement are available in the LCC
Counseling and Advising Center (GB 204). Such items shall be negotiated
directly and authorized by the Chief Academic Officers of each institution.

This agreement may be dissolved by either institution with six months notice.
