NOTES:
1. This transfer guide represents an articulation (partnership) agreement
that allows a student to complete a teacher education program with a major in
Heating and Air Conditioning (with Vocational Technology endorsement). The WMU
teaching major is satisfied at LCC by completing a minimum of 30 credits from
Choice 2 above. Taking at least 20 semester credits of WMU courses in an
appropriate secondary education minor will satisfy the teaching minor. Note:
The VT endorsement requires 4000 hours of recent and relevant work experience.
2. See the MACRAO Transfer Agreement guide for appropriate LCC courses.
The required PSYC courses satisfy a portion of the MACRAO social science
requirement.
3. Admission to the WMU teacher education program will include these
requirements:
a. 2.5 or higher grade point average.
b. Satisfactory completing of the State of Michigan Basic Skills Test
(mathematics, reading, communication).
c. PSYC 205 (LCC) or ED 250-Human Growth and Development at WMU
satisfactorily completed.
4. LCC courses that meet the WMU Intellectual Skills Development Program and a
computer literacy course requirement are: Writing: WRIT 121; Reading:
Satisfactory completion of 26 semester credits of transferable credits, or
completion of ED 104 at WMU, or exemption based upon a standardized reading
test at WMU; and Quantification: MATH 107 or exemption by WMU test;
Computer Literacy: CPSC 120.
5. Students should contact the LCC Manufacturing Engineering Technologies
Department (517-483-1339) regarding course selection to qualify for the
Associate in Applied Science degree.
6. Students seeking an LCC associate degree must fulfill specific graduation
requirements including the LCC general education core requirements. See the

7. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and
writing. To determine accurate course placement, students should take the
Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GB 200) prior to
