NOTES:
1. See the NMU Liberal Studies Requirements guide for appropriate LCC courses.
   The MACRAO Transfer Agreement may also be referred to in selection of 
   general education courses.  Select EITHER the NMU Liberal Studies Requirements
   -OR- the MACRAO Transfer Agreement.  General education courses will be 
   applicable to the major or minor.  
2. NMU's BS in Theatre program boasts a 90% placement rate by providing students
   with the necessary background for professional careers in the theatre
   including techniques, practices, auditions, and productions.  A field studies
   experience is required for this major.
3. A maximum of 64 semester credits, plus an additional 4 semester credits in
   physical education activity/health promotion courses, may transfer to NMU.
4. Students can fulfill NMU's World Cultures requirement by completing one of
   the following while at LCC:  ANTH 270; ENGL 211,212; GEOG 200; HIST 214,240;
   HUMS 221, or RELG 211,250.
5. At least one course in the Liberal Studies (General Education) program must
   be at the 300-level or above.  This requirement can be completed at LCC by
   completing one of the following courses:  ENGL 211,212,255,256; RELG 241,242;
   SOCL 185.
6. Select 12 credits from THEA 131,132,141,143,171,181,210,223,233,235,238,241,
   271,283,285.
7. Select elective courses applicable to this major with the assistance of an
   NMU transfer admissions counselor (see below).
8. Students seeking an LCC associate degree must fulfill specific graduation
   requirements including the LCC general education core requirements.  See the

9. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and 
   writing.  To determine accurate course placement, students should take the 
   Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GB 200) prior to
