NOTES:
1. The National University of Health Sciences is accredited by the Commission on
Accreditation of the Council of Chiropractic Education, State Education
Department of State of New York, and the Commission of Institutions of Higher
Education of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
2. Admissions Requirements to NUHS:
a. Students must possess a baccalaureate degree and have a cumulative GPA of
2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
b. All prerequisite courses must transfer at the baccalaureate level with a
minimum 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
c. Priority admission will be granted to students with a 3.0 cumulative GPA
if qualified applications exceed the number of spaces available.
d. See the NUHS Bulletin for additional admission requirements.
e. It is the responsibility of the student to keep abreast of changes in
course offerings and program requirements.
3. Students are encouraged to work with the contacts listed below when selecting
the 15 credits of social science/humanities. Course selection may include:
economics, education, history, political science, psychology, anthropology,
art/drama/music/film history or appreciation, languages, literature, English,
logic, philosophy, and religion.
4. Students seeking an LCC associate degree must fulfill specific graduation
requirements including the LCC general education core requirements. See the

5. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and
writing. To determine accurate course placement, students should take the
Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GB 200) prior to
