NOTES:
1. This transfer guide represents an articulation (partnership) agreement
between Lansing Community College and Central Michigan University's Off
Campus Programs (Lansing Site). See the MACRAO Transfer Agreement guide
for appropriate LCC courses. Select at least one science with a lab to meet
the requirements in CHOICE 1.
COMPETENCY CHANGE: As of August 2007, all CMU students (including those who
transfer to CMU) are required to complete CMU General Education requirements
for all competencies (i.e., Written English, Oral English, and Mathematics)
before completing 56 hours of coursework. (See Note 3)
2. General Education Requirements for transfer students may be met by:
a. The "MACRAO Transfer Agreement" requirements may be met, or
b. The University Program Transfer Block Option may be fulfilled as
described in the CMU Extended Degree Programs Bulletin, or
c. The entire CMU University Program as described in the CMU Off Campus
Programs Bulletin. Courses are evaluated individually.
3. CMU expects its graduates to demonstrate competency in three areas: English
composition, mathematics, and speech. A grade of "C" (2.00) or better in the
following Lansing Community College courses found on this guide will fulfill
these competency requirements: WRIT 121/131, WRIT/ENGL 122/132; MATH 112 or
higher (except MATH 114, 115, 201, 202); SPCH 120/130.
4. Select one course from: LEGL 215; MGMT 223,224,228,299.
5. This transfer guide leads to the completion of a Bachelor of Science Degree
or a Bachelor of Applied Arts Degree with a major in Administration through
CMU's Off-Campus Programs. The BBA requires a minor.
6. THIS PROGRAM DOES NOT LEAD TO A BUSINESS DEGREE. The maximum number of
business credits which can be utilized toward this degree is 27 including
CMU business credits.
7. Students seeking an LCC associate degree must fulfill specific graduation
requirements including the LCC general education core requirements. See the
LCC catalog at http://www.lcc.edu/catalog for additional details.
8. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and
writing. To determine accurate course placement, students should take the
Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GB 200) prior to
