One course may meet more than one general education requirement in the follow-
ing categories: Cultural Enrichment (CE), Social Awareness (SA), Global
Consciousness (GC), and Race-Ethnicity-Gender (REG).
2. Admission criteria for the FSU Allied Health Education Program:
a. Completion of an accredited associate degree program in an approved Allied
Health specialty. Majors include areas such as dental hygiene, nursing,
and respiratory therapy with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
b. Individuals who are certified, licensed, or registered to practice in an
approved Allied Health area will be granted up to 40 semester hours of
credit toward the Allied Health Education major requirement.
c. Current licensure, certification, or registry, where applicable, is a re-
quirement for graduation with the BS degree in Allied Health Education.
3. Students may transfer a maximum of 90 credits toward all Ferris State
University bachelor degree programs. Students should work closely with
Shari Chamberlain, FSU Admissions Transfer Counselor (see below), for
the selection of any credits not included on this guide to ensure
transferability of all LCC courses.
4. Students seeking an LCC associate degree must fulfill specific graduation
requirements including the LCC general education core requirements. See the
LCC catalog at http://www.lcc.edu/catalog for additional details.
5. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and
writing. To determine accurate course placement, students should take the
Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GB 200) prior to
