NOTES:
1. This transfer guide represents an articulation (partnership) agreement
between Lansing Community College and the Atlanta University Center (Clark
Atlanta University, Morehouse College, and Spelman College) that facilitates
the transfer of LCC students to programs within each of these schools.
Students planning to enroll in a program which will transfer to an AUC
college are asked to contact Addie Morrow, LCC Counselor, at (517) 483-1165.
2. CAU accepts a maximum of 58 transferable credits. Students are encouraged to
meet with the counselor listed in Note 1 when making courses selection/s.
3. Communication Arts majors concentrate in: a) journalism, b)radio-television-
film c) public relations, d) speech communication or e) theatre arts. Majors
must demonstrate proficiency in written and oral skills.
4. Select 3-4 credits from: HUMS 120,211,212,213,214; THEA 110.
5. Select credits from: PHIL 151,152,153,211,212,260: RELG 211,212,241,242,250
6. Select 1 credit in a physical education activity course.
7. Complete two semesters of intermediate foreign language: FREN/GRMN/JAPN/SPAN
8. Mathematics - Non-Science/Math majors may complete MATH 112,121;
science/math/business/psychology majors must complete MATH 121,122.
9. Admission Requirements
a. Minimum cumulative grade point average for transfer - 2.5
b. Courses with grades less than 2.0 will not transfer.
c. Application deadlines: Fall - March 1; Spring - November 1.
10. Students seeking an LCC associate degree must fulfill specific graduation
requirements including the LCC general education core requirements. See the

11. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and
writing. To determine accurate course placement, students should take the
Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GB 200) prior to
