NOTES:
1. See the MACRAO Transfer Agreement guide for appropriate LCC courses to
satisfy general education requirements.
2. All community college graduates accepted for admission to Lake Superior State
University who have earned the MACRAO approved stamp on their transcript,
will be recognized as having completed the general education requirements at
LSSU. SPCH 130 is not required if the MACRAO requirements have been met.
MACRAO must be completed at the community college.
3. See the LSSU Catalog for cognate and other degree information. B.A. degrees
require one year of foreign language; B.S. degrees require 8 additional
semester credits from social science, natural science or mathematics.
4. Select a minimum of 8 credits from the Science/Mathematics portion of the
MACRAO Transfer Agreement. MATH 121 is suggested since it can be used as a
prerequisite for statistics as well as fulfilling the Science/Mathematics
MACRAO requirement.
5. Students seeking an LCC associate degree must fulfill specific graduation
requirements including the LCC general education core requirements. See the
LCC catalog at http://www.lcc.edu/catalog for additional details.
6. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and
writing. To determine accurate course placement, students should take the
Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GB 200) prior to
registration. For testing hours call (517) 267-5500.
