Final responsibility for verifying all transfer information lies with the

2. The FSU Manufacturing Engineering Technology program was designed to accept
graduates of the following associate degree programs: Computer-Aided Drafting
& Design, Engineering Technology, Industrial Manufacturing, Precision
Machinist, Welding Technology.
3. Entry Criteria:
a. Associate degree in a manufacturing based technology degree or 57 semester
hours of college course work including technical, general, and technical-
related coruses.
b. 2.50 grade point average or department approval
c. Complete math through Algebra & Analytical Trigonometry/Pre-calculus
(MATH 122/126)
d. Complete public speaking course (SPCH 130)
e. Complete 6 semester hours of English (WRIT 121,122)
f. Complete accepted scientific understanding course (PHYS 221)
g. Complete a basic Material Science course (METM 190)
h. Demonstrate computer competency (CITA 110/CITF 110/CPSC 120)
i. Complete PDET 122 or competency exam at Ferris
j. Complete MFGT 110 and 114 at Ferris
k. Complete at least one Cultural Enrichment and one Social Awareness
(PSYC 200) course as partial fulfillment of graduation requirements.
4. Application Deadline: It is recommended that students submit applications
by January 15 prior to fall entry.
5. Due to the sequential nature of the courses in this BS degree, student should
consult with a Ferris advisor prior to completing general education require-
ments or program courses beyond their associate degree.
Students not completing the MACRAO Agreement are required to complete the
Ferris General Education requirements. See Ferris advisor for general
education advising needs.
6. Students seeking an LCC associate degree must fulfill specific graduation
requirements including the LCC general education core requirements. See the
LCC catalog at http://www.lcc.edu/catalog for additional details.
7. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and
writing. To determine accurate course placement, students should take the
Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GB 200) prior to
