HMFS 206 - Rooms Division Management
HMFS 215 - Hospitality Sales/Marketing
HMFS 229 - Convention and Meeting Management
HMFS 232 - Food and Labor Cost Control
MATH 112 - Intermediate Algebra (or higher math levels)
SOCL 120 - Introduction to Sociology
SPCH 130 - Fundamentals of Public Speaking
WRIT 121 - Composition I
WRIT 122 - Composition II

NOTES:
1. This transfer guide represents an articulation (partnership) agreement
between Lansing Community College (LCC) and Johnson & Wales University, to
facilitate the transfer of credits toward the completion of a baccalaureate
degree in Hotel & Lodging Management. Students interested in other programs
should contact a J&W transfer credit evaluator.
2. Transfer credit can only be earned in the following manner:
a) a minimum grade of "C" (2.0) must be earned
b) a major must be selected to insure the proper awarding of transfer credit
c) Johnson & Wales will evaluate course-by-course to reflect the selected
curriculum
d) course credit hours must equate to the course credit hours assigned to
Johnson & Wales courses
3. Students seeking an LCC associate degree must fulfill specific graduation
requirements including the LCC general education core requirements. See the
LCC catalog at http://www.lcc.edu/catalog for additional details.
4. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and
writing. To determine accurate course placement, students should take the
Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GB 200) prior to
