NOTES:
1. This transfer guide represents an articulation (partnership) agreement
between Lansing Community College and the Atlanta University Center (Clark
Atlanta University, Morehouse College, and Spelman College) in support of
the National Articulation and Transfer Network program. This agreement
facilitates the transfer of eligible LCC credits into a Morehouse College
baccalaureate degree program for qualified LCC students. Students planning
to enroll in a program that will transfer to an AUC institution are asked
to contact Shantoria Vance, LCC/HBCU Coordinator, at (517) 483-1884 or email
vances3@lcc.edu.
2. Admission Requirements
a. Minimum cumulative grade point average for transfer - 2.50.
b. Courses with grades less than 2.0 will not transfer.
c. Maximum number of transferable credits - 60 semester hours.
d. Minimum of 26 semester hours of earned college credit must be presented
for admission.
e. Application deadlines: Fall - February 15, Spring - October 15
3. Electives credits should be selects from either an intermediate foreign
language (FREN, GRMN, SPAN 201, 202) or world literature (ENGL 211, 212).
Both sequences are required. The sequence not completed at LCC will be
completed at Morehouse College.
4. Students who complete the coursework for this transfer guide may be eligible
to receive the LCC General Associate Degree. Please contact Shantoria Vance
(see Note 1) for additional information. Students seeking an LCC associate
degree must fulfill specific graduation requirements including the LCC
general education core requirements. See the LCC catalog online at

5. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and
writing. To determine accurate course placement, students should take the
Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GV 200) prior to
