most appropriate time for the student, whether before or after enrollment at
Eastern Michigan University:
a. an approved course in Quantitative Reasoning;

c. an approved Learning Beyond the Classroom course/experience offered at EMU.
To use MACRAO, students should request a MACRAO evaluation of their transcript
from the LCC Registrar's Office. Students who do not satisfy MACRAO will have
to satisfy the EMU General Education Requirements.
2. Only coursework with a grade of "C" (2.0) or better will transfer. A minimum
of 60 semester hours exclusive of community college credit is required for
graduation from Eastern Michigan University. Students applying to the Social
Work Program must have a minimum grade point average of 2.30 to be considered
for entrance.
3. Admission to the University does not guarantee enrollment in 300 and 400
level Social Work classes or in field placement.
4. Social Work Program and Field Placement requirements are detailed in the EMU
catalog.
5. Students seeking an LCC associate degree must fulfill specific graduation
requirements including the LCC general education core requirements. See the
LCC catalog at http://www.lcc.edu/catalog for additional details.
6. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and
writing. To determine accurate course placement, students should take the
Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GB 200) prior to
registration. For testing hours call (517) 267-5500.
