NOTES:
1. See separate MACRAO Transfer Agreement guide for appropriate LCC courses.
COMPETENCY CHANGE: As of August 2007, all CMU students (including those
who transfer to CMU) are required to complete CMU General Education
requirements for all competencies (i.e., Written English, Oral English, and
Mathematics) before completing 56 hours of coursework.
2. CMU expects its graduates to demonstrate competency in three areas: English
composition, mathematics, and speech. A grade of "C" (2.00) or better in the
following Lansing Community College courses found on this guide will fulfill
these competency requirements: WRIT 121/131, WRIT/ENGL 122/132; MATH 112 or
higher (except MATH 114, 115); SPCH 120/130.
3. Computer Science majors at Central Michigan University are available under
both the BA and BS degree. To complete these degrees additional humanities
and social sciences are required.
4. Students seeking an LCC associate degree must fulfill specific graduation
requirements including the LCC general education core requirements. See the
LCC catalog at http://www.lcc.edu/catalog for additional details.
5. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and
writing. To determine accurate course placement, students should take the
Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GB 200) prior to
registration. For testing hours call (517) 267-5500.
