NOTES:
1. The general education courses listed satisfy the MACRAO Transfer Agreement.
   Students who complete this curriculum at LCC will transfer to Olivet College 
   as juniors.  Olivet College graduation requirements are:  Portfolio Seminar 
   (each semester enrolled), Olivet College Experience course, Senior Experience
   course in major, Service Learning course, and Living in a Diverse World 
   course.
2. Electives should represent the major and/or minor. Consult the Olivet College
   catalog or the Olivet College staff listed below.
3. Admission to the Teacher Preparation Program at Olivet:
   a. Be in the process of completing EDUC 204 and 220 at LCC.
   b. Declare a certifiable teaching major/s and minor/s to elementary or
      secondary certification at the Olivet College Registrar's Office. 
   c. Complete at least 56 semester credits by the end of the sophomore year.
   d. Complete the application form for admission to the program during the 
      second semester of the sophomore year.
   e. Achieve a 2.5 cumulative GPA.
   f. Pass all segments of the Basic Skills portion of the Michigan Teacher
      Competency Test. 
4. Students who transfer without completing the MACRAO Transfer Agreement will
   need to complete the general education curriculum at Olivet College.
5. Complete the indicated number of credits in laboratory science selected from
   the Science/Mathematics portion of the MACRAO Transfer Agreement.  ISCI 121 
   and 122 are the recommended courses.
6. Complete the indicated number of credits selected from the Social Science
   portion of the MACRAO Transfer Agreement (exclude economics).
7. Students seeking an LCC associate degree must fulfill specific graduation
   requirements including the LCC general education core requirements.  See the 
   LCC catalog at http://www.lcc.edu/catalog for additional details.
8. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and 
   writing.  To determine accurate course placement, students should take the 
   Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GB 200) prior to
